| An extremely dangerous predator, that haunts the swamps of Dagobah. The life cycle of an eboless begins as a harmless purple mushroom, that grows on the barks of trees, where it feeds upon its host like any other fungus would do. When it has spent a year in its mushroom-like state, the purple fruit dies and the adult state evaporates from its old body. The eboless is now a purple cloud of tiny flesh-eating spores, that is probably held together by unknown force powers and inhabited by a dangerous collective intelligence. In the thick fog-clouded swamps of Dagobah, the creature is effectively invisible. Whenever a victim comes into contact with the eboless cloud, the spores begin to eat and drain blood, while the other spores will concentrate around the prey to accelerate the process. The eboless will leave only bones behind and use the devoured flesh to grow new spores and regenerate lost ones. When the cloud is well-fed, it will search for a suitable tree and plant new eboless mushrooms. |
