| The Krath war droid was first constructed nearly four thousand years before the Battle of Yavin. These simple minded droids were designed to strike fast and hard, eliminating the greatest threats first then work their way down. Perhaps the galaxy would have seen the last of these war droids at the end of the Great Sith war had it not been for a small faction of the Krath who ended up on the planet Strytanendepuncta.
Seeing the Krath war droid as a much needed part of their society, they continued to build the droids in secret while the rest of the galaxy had no idea they exsisted. Over the centuries they mnagaed to produce numerous generations of war droids, the latest generation being the Mark 86.
The Mark 86-A is the most basic of the Mark 86s. It's simple cognitive matrix is programmed to hit the enemy fast and hard, keeping them off balance, without making any distinction between threat types as the Mark 86-B does. It was designed to be the foot soldier of a new Krath army. |
