The XS-800 light freighter is one of the more recent designs introduced by Corellian Engineering Corporation. In many ways, the XS-800 is a smaller-scale version of the corvette CEC developed for military use. The sublight and hyperdrive assembly is almost identical in design to the Corellian corvette (though it is considerably smaller).
The XS-800 - unlike other freighters of its type - was built with crew comfort in mind. Quarters are each equipped with a small refresher unit as well as an autochef and personal computer system. Each crew chamber is environmentally sealed, and the gravity, temperature and atmosphere configuration can be adjusted to suit the individual crewer. In order to conserve space, bunks fold out from the bulkhead, making for small but comfortable quarters. |
