Notes:
Modifications

  • Klyn replaced the hyperdrive and the hyperdrive backup units with a Class 1.25 and Class 11 units for better hyperspace performance.
  • A more powerful sublight drive replaced that found on a stock HT-2200. The result was to double the Bounty's sublight speeds.
  • An upgraded sensor package and a more powerful shield system were added.
  • In addition to the two pulse laser cannons found on a stock HT-2200, Klyn has added a retractable triple blaster cannon, four quad laser cannons, a pair of twin ion cannons, and a concussion missile rack, all of which are operated from the pilot's station.

    Due to the the number of weapons systems operated from the pilot's station, Klyn installed a special computer system to aid in the operation of the weapons. The system may be used to operate some of the weapons automatically if a succesful Moderate computer programming/repair roll is made for each weapon operated in this manner. Only the pulse laser cannons are not operated by this system, though Klyn may operate either one remotely from the pilot's station. When weapons are operated automatically then the system only uses the Fire Control dice for that weapon in order to target enemy craft.

    If any of the weapons are damaged or destroyed while operating automatically, there is a 1D chance that it will shut down the computer weapons system. If the results are 1-4 nothing happens to the system. If a 5 then all weapons of the type that has been damaged or destroyed can not be used until the system is either repaired or the individual weapon is taken out of the system. If a 6, then the system shuts down and no weapons tied to the system may be used until the system is either repaired or the individual weapon is taken out of the system.

  • The retractable triple blaster cannon is located just above the sublight engines. Because of it's position, it can only be extended and used for 4D rounds at a time. After that it automatically retracts and is stored for 12D rounds before it can be used again.
  • A special cell system was installed in the Bounty's cargo system. Lasers, which form the bars of the cells, were installed in the ceilings and floors of the cargo bays. These cells can be activated from each cargo bay's control station. The lasers only shock their prisoner, they don't kill them. This system allows the Bounty to carry thirty-two prisoners.
  • The concussion missile rack carries twenty-four missiles
