Lancer Interceptor
The Lancer Interceptor is the Anaran Royal Engineering Corps first attempt to build a fast attack starfighter while staying true to the Anaran military doctrine of packing as much firepower into as small a frame as possible. The resulting starfighter had speed that allows it to overrun most other starfighters and a weapons array to disable if not destroy them. While it lacks in armour and shields, the craft's speed and advanced sensor array more than make up for that deficiency.

Unfortunately, the small frame forced the engineers to cram systems into all available space, resulting in vulnerabilities similar to that of the A-Wing. The major advantage the Lancer has over other interceptors is the autoblaster which allows it to pepper its target with a flurry of blaster bolts after knocking out its shields with the laser cannons.
