Star Wars Miniature Substitutes If you were not lucky to have bought enough any Star Wars miniatures while they were out, there are many good subsitutes. Dice always work in a pinch. They are not that attractive, but give the players a good feel of three dimensions and spacial orientations for battles. Another good replacement is to use lego people. This allows easy distinction between characters and enemies. You can also paint them for a unique appearance.
