SB-51 MANTA
Slightly slower and less manueverable than the SF-51, the SB-51 is a dedicated bomber. For self-defense it carries a smaller, less powerful version of the Quasar laser carried by the SF-51. It's missile launch bays carry the Air Harbinger, the air-to-ground version of the Assasin air-to-air missile carried on the SF-51. In it's bomb/missile bay, the SB-51 can carry either three Micro-Hammerhead cruise missiles or nine Quaker Cluster bombs. Each quacker breaks up into four seperate bombs, allowing for a much larger area to be hit.

Notes:
  • The SB-51 carries ten Air Harbinger air-to-ground missiles, five in each missile launcher. The Air Harbingers can only be used against ground targets (hover vehicles such as landspeeders are considered ground targets)
  • The SB-51 can carry up to three Micro-Hammerhead Cruise Missiles. It takes three rounds to program a target into the cruise missiles. Range for the Micro-Hammerhead Cruise Missile is 500-800/3/5 km. The damage is 6D.
  • Quaker Cluster Bomb: Because each bomb breaks and disperses in four seperate directions on impact, it does more damage than a normal bomb. Each quarter does 7D worth of damage. The entire bomb does damage over an a hundred meter radius. The SB-51 can carry up to nine Quaker Cluster Bombs.
  • The SB-51 has three arangements for the bomb/missile bay, all Micro-Hammerhead Cruise Missiles (a total of two), all Quaker Cluster Bombs (a total of six), or a mix of both (one cruise missile and six bombs or two cruise missiles and three bombs).
