| Impressed with the ASAC, the Vauvusar used it as the basis for their latest amphibious troop transport, the C-247 Amphibious Troop Carrier (ATC). TheATC's sole purpose is to deliver troops to a beach head and then provide them with some cover fire. To accomplish this purpose, the ATC carries two hundred twenty-five troops and is armed with three turret mounted Avatar Chemical Laser Cannons (ACLCs).
The ATC looks almost exactly like the ASAC it is based on. The differences are it's size and the ACLCs. Because it has to carry so many troops, the ATC is a behemouth on the battlefield, easily dwarfing many of the other craft on it. Unlike the ACLC located on the ASAC, the ACLCs located on the ATC remain fully intact, thus allowing each cannon to do considerable damage when compared with the modified version located on the ASAC. |
