| Blasters remain in regular use among raiders: pirates often kill their way to a ship's controls, and privateers must often meet lethal resistance with stronger weapons than stunners. This blaster, however, is designed to hit as many targets as possible. It is interesting to note that the Empire has rejected the DL-87 for Naval use; most Imperial commanders believe that the unit's range is too short for most Naval operations and that its slow rate of fire and bulky size make it impractical for use by armored marines or stormtroopers. | |
